This session will discuss enforceability of appraisal, arbitration, and mediation awards and how enforcement may differ for each of these. This session will include a state-by-state comparison of enforcement issues and will explore the grounds upon which to challenge an award. Panelists will also discuss the scope of a Court’s review based on the impartiality of a mediator, appraiser/ referee, and arbitrator specific to the property insurance context.
