e-JAMS

Attorneys involved in arbitration know how document intensive the process can be. In order to help you better manage this aspect of arbitration, JAMS will soon introduce our new e-JAMS service. It will provide state-of-the-art litigation technology helping counsel productively manage arbitration documents using innovative methods of e-filing, service, searching and monitoring. You can be assured that the system will offer a totally secure electronic experience for storing and exchanging documents with opposing parties and clients in any arbitration case.

e-JAMS will:

• Eliminate the need to store large paper documents or carry paper copies
• Maintain documents in fully managed data centers
• Reduce document production
• Allow for electronic service of documents without the space limitations and the uncertainty of email

For convenience, all documents will be available for access by all parties, counsel and the arbitrator through any Internet connection. e-JAMS will keep all parties up-to-date by notifying users via email or fax immediately when an event occurs in their case. The cost of labor, postage, materials and the time delay of regular mail will be significantly reduced.
