Atlanta, Georgia – Terrence Lee Croft, Esq., a trial lawyer with over 40 years of courtroom experience and more than 25 years of experience as a neutral, announced today that he has joined JAMS, The Resolution Experts, the nation’s largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services. Throughout his career Mr. Croft has successfully resolved more than 2,500 disputes. He will be based in the JAMS Atlanta Resolution Center.

Mr. Croft has been practicing as a civil trial lawyer since 1965. He is a senior partner at Atlanta-based King & Croft LLP, a firm known for its dispute resolution work in civil matters through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation in State and Federal courts and agencies. He has represented clients in nearly every type of dispute that arises in the course of doing business.
A leader in the legal community, Mr. Croft is a Founding Member of the Georgia Academy of Mediators & Arbitrators, and a fellow in the American College of Civil Trial Mediators. He is also registered as a neutral in arbitration, mediation and early neutral evaluation with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. He is Past President of the Atlanta Bar Association and has chaired its Dispute Resolution Lawyers Section. Mr. Croft has also served as Chair of the Dispute Resolution Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, and serves on that organization’s Board of Governors.
Among his numerous honors, Mr. Croft has received the Watkins Award for Distinguished Service from the Atlanta Bar Association. He has been selected as a Georgia SuperLawyer each of the last five years, and was additionally honored by Georgia SuperLawyers as a Top 100 Lawyer in 2008 and 2009. He has also been recognized by Best Lawyers In America in the ADR category.
A frequent speaker on alternative dispute resolution, Mr. Croft has served as an adjunct professor on intermediate civil litigation at Emory University Law School. He earned his J.D. with distinction from the University of Michigan in 1965, and received his undergraduate degree from Yale University in 1962.
