Hon. Greer H. Stroud (Ret.) combines the knowledge learned from her years on the Superior Court bench with over 20 years experience at JAMS where she serves as a mediator and arbitrator in the resolution of civil litigation.
Commissioner Stroud's experience also includes serving as the Discovery Referee or Special Master in a wide variety of cases, including multi-party class action and other complex cases.

- Extensive experience in both mediations and settlement conferences with a very high rate of settlement
- Extremely effective at finding a common basis for resolution and thus bringing opposing parties together ("She stuck with our cases when other mediators would have quit.")
- Hears many significant cases as an arbitrator, mediator, judge pro tem, referee and special master; and has conducted extensive "in camera" reviews
- Resolves a broad range of discovery problems
- Often appointed as referee for depositions in public entity, trade secret, and business litigation matters
- Resolved litigation of all types while on the Superior Court bench and at JAMS including contractual disputes, real estate, business litigation and dissolution, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and other employment matters
- Settled thousands of personal injury cases involving all types of injuries including soft tissue injuries, amputations, paralysis, brain injuries and wrongful death
- Evaluated and resolved many dog bite cases involving significant facial scarring and other emotional and physical scarring to both minors and adults

- Appointed by the Orange County Presiding Judge and served as the Discovery Referee in the Irvine-based Lincoln Savings and Loan cases filed in Orange County Superior Court
- Co-mediated a large construction defect case involving over 700 homes
- Mediated dozens of 18-wheel truck accident cases involving serious injuries
- Settled significant harassment cases including sexual harassment of minors in the workplace and at a church
