Craig Levinson
Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer

Craig Levinson is an award-winning business and client development professional with over a decade of experience marketing and selling to the legal community. Levinson works closely with the President and CEO as well as the Regional Vice Presidents to expand and enhance JAMS national marketing, communications and business development initiatives.

Prior to joining JAMS, Levinson was Director of Business Development and Marketing for the national law firm of Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner. His legal marketing experience also includes stints with Katten Muchin Rosenman and Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross. While at Sills, Levinson won the 2002 Spherion Marketer of the Year Award for Marketing Initiative of the Year.

At Brown Raysman, Levinson was responsible for managing the sales, business development and marketing programs for all five of the firm’s offices and was instrumental in instituting three separate levels of client development training at the 275-attorney AmLaw 200 firm. Under his leadership, Brown Raysman was one of only four mid-size firms to achieve a Top 20 ranking in the Marketing the Law Firm Top 50 listing. Levinson began his career in professional services as an attorney with the New York law firm of Anderson Kill & Olick. After leaving private practice, he helped found HireCounsel, one of the largest contract attorney agencies in the United States.

Levinson earned his J.D. from Boston University and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. He is a founding member of the New York Chapter of Professional Marketer’s Forum North America and the former membership chair of the Metropolitan New York Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association. He is on the editorial boards of the Legal Sales and Service Organization and of Marketing the Law Firm newsletter.
