Management Biographies In Brief
Vicki Satrap Director of Operations, Northwest Region
As Director of Operations, Northwest Region, Vicki Satrap is responsible for delivering resolution excellence to clients in the San Francisco Bay and Seattle areas by integrating all aspects of the task and aligning them with the business imperatives. Satrap joined JAMS in 1996 as a case administrator in San Jose. After a year she was promoted to Field Operations Supervisor, responsible for the operation and management of the Walnut Creek and San Jose resolution centers. In 2002, she was promoted to the position of General Manager with management responsibilities for all Northern California resolution centers and in 2007, Vicki was elevated to Director of Operations, Northwest Region.
Prior to joining JAMS, Satrap earned valuable business experience during 17 years working as a negotiator for PG&E, one of the largest investor-owned utilities, where she held the title of Gas Buyer. She managed and oversaw a portfolio of multi-month and annual natural gas contracts for purchase and pipeline delivery from Canada, California, and the Southwestern U.S. She was accountable to negotiate contract terms and conditions with other senior managers for critical core gas supplies. Satrap assisted in developing the use of financial instruments such as futures and options to manage gas costs.
Vicki was recognized for outstanding performance by the Performance Recognition Committee of PG&E for demonstrating her tremendous initiative and commitment. She was selected by PG&E’s senior management to lead the gas procurement Minority, Women, Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (MWDVBE) outreach activities.
Vicki graduated from Diablo Valley College and is certified by the American Management Association for various management and negotiation courses. She also participated in continuing education through accredited university courses including public speaking.
