Terrence Lee Croft has successfully resolved more than 3,000 disputes as a mediator and an arbitrator. Many of these disputes have been highly charged, complex cases in the field of employment and employment benefits, including class and collective actions. These disputes involved issues of age, disability, gender, race and national origin. They included wrongful termination, actual and constructive, for sexual harassment, failure to accommodate, retaliation, hostile work environment, wage and hour, False Claims Act, Americans with Disability Act, and ERISA violations. Often, they arose from allegations of breach of employment contracts, breach of fiduciary duty, theft of trade secrets, corporate opportunities, and intellectual property. The parties include Fortune 500 companies, highly compensated executives, closely held companies and family businesses or trusts. Frequently, these parties are from professional groups, including medical, legal, accounting, architectural or engineering entities or partnerships.
Mr. Croft has been selected twice as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Georgia, selected as a Georgia Super Lawyer, selected as one of the Best Lawyers in America in ADR, and Best Lawyers' Atlanta Arbitration "Lawyer of the Year" for 2018.
He is also registered as a neutral in arbitration, mediation, and early neutral evaluation with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. He is Past President of the Atlanta Bar Association and its Foundation and has chaired its Dispute Resolution Lawyers Section and its Litigation Section.
