Bruce A. Edwards, Esq. is one of JAMS founding partners and most experienced attorney mediators.

Mr. Edwards has served as a mediator, arbitrator, and special master since 1986. He is frequently called upon to handle large-scale construction disputes, engineering and infrastructure disputes, and delay claims around the country. Since 2001, he has successfully resolved over one-half billion dollars in residential construction defect claims and millions more involving large commercial and public works projects.  He has authored numerous articles on mediating the complex construction case and authored the JAMS Protocol for Mediating Construction Defect Litigation. Mr. Edwards teaches throughout the United States and abroad on dispute resolution process design, partnering, and mediating the complex case.

    • Mr. Edwards has mediated and arbitrated numerous commercial and public works projects involving contract disputes, delay claims, change order disputes, and liquidated damage assessments
  • Insurance-Related Construction Experience
    • Mr. Edwards has mediated all types of construction insurance issues involving primary and excess insurance coverage, including OCIP, CCIP, and wrap policies. He has particular experience with additional insurance and indemnity issues
