While on the Court of Appeal, Justice Haning authored a wide variety of appellate opinions governing the application of California law today, including the law of arbitration. Since his affiliation with JAMS, he has conducted arbitrations and been designated to try bench cases as judge pro tem. Moreover, he has been appointed as a Special Master in complex litigation involving business and commercial disputes, class actions, securities fraud, trade secret violations, and professional negligence.
