Irvine – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, announced Ranse Howell has joined JAMS as the Director of International Operations.
Mr. Howell joins JAMS with more than 10 years of experience in alternative dispute resolution. He previously served as a senior project manager, head of the Negotiation and Leadership Academy and a Dispute Resolution consultant and trainer for the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).
Prior to that, he trained and worked as a mediator in New York and California. Additionally he has worked on projects in Hong Kong, Dublin, South Africa and elsewhere on behalf of multinational law firms and companies, and brings significant consultancy and business development experience to the role.
Ranse will focus on growing our cross-border arbitration services as well as our mediation practices, along with enhancing our international panel. His experience will be invaluable as we continue to expand our international presence and we’re thrilled to have him join us.

He earned both an undergraduate and masters from Temple University; a law degree from the School of Law, City University of New York; an LLM from Straus Institute at Pepperdine; and is currently in progress toward a PhD from the School of Business, University of Sussex.
