SAN FRANCISCO – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Phillip Neiman, Esq. to its panel. Mr. Neiman will be based in the San Francisco Resolution Center and serve as a mediator, arbitrator and special master in a variety of disputes including Business/Commercial, Financial/Securities, Employment, Real Property, Trusts/Estates, Insurance, Intellectual Property, and Tort claims.
Mr. Neiman joins JAMS with 15 years of experience as a full-time neutral settling high-stakes disputes, with a focus on securities, financial and commercial cases. Before establishing Neiman Mediation in 2004, he served as CEO and General Counsel of a FINRA-registered broker-dealer, working closely with buy side firms, other sell side firms and public issuers, and managing all corporate finance activity as well as overseeing legal and regulatory compliance.
Phil is routinely praised by counsel for earnestly engaging in the mediation process, bringing a dose of calm to emotionally charged conversations and keeping the settlement discussions moving forward. We know he will make a great addition to our panel.
-Chris Poole, JAMS President and CEO
As a former investment banker, Mr. Neiman brings a unique skill set to his ADR practice. He spent more than a decade raising capital for growth companies in the technology space, serving as lead facilitator in privately negotiated transactions involving hedge funds, foreign banks, asset managers and other institutional investors. He draws on this background as a dealmaker throughout the mediation process.
I look forward to continuing my work as a neutral and guiding parties and counsel through the settlement process. I’m excited to join the talented JAMS team in San Francisco.
-Phillip Neiman, Esq., JAMS Mediator, Arbitrator, and Special Master
Mr. Neiman received his B.A. from Swarthmore College in Economics with High Honors and his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law.
