Having served for 16 years on the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas, Justice Whittington is well prepared to handle a broad spectrum of appellate matters. Mediating appellate-level cases requires an expertise of the nuances that separate these disputes from those in the pre-trial stage. Justice Whittington is able to draw upon his working knowledge of the standard of review, risks involved in appeal, and importance of timing mediation hearings to help guide parties toward settlement.
