  • Presided over a family partnership dispute involving a substantial longstanding business
  • Adjudicated partnership dissolution of a sizeable local family-owned company and a non-family member/partner; successfully settled matter while decision was on appeal
  • Adjudicated commercial dispute between top manufacturers of telephone headsets, including allegations of breach of contract, interference with economic advantage, enterprise endangering damages, and anti-trust claims

  • Presided over a wrongful termination discrimination case involving allegations of sexual orientation discrimination by a local police department

  • Presided over child dependency litigation where Federal Law (Indian Child Welfare Act) was found unconstitutional as applied
  • Adjudicated paternity action where Anti-SLAPP motion was applied to Unjust Enrichment in switched embryo/fertility clinic case
Intellectual Property
  • Presided over trade secret litigation between large integrated circuit manufacturers involving allegations of hiring away engineers and “retained memory” issues, protection of trade secrets, and balancing of interest protecting trade secrets against California right to work laws
  • Adjudicated trade secret dispute between large integrated circuit manufacturers involving alleged theft of circuit board design and requested injunctive relief
Personal Injury
  • Settled personal injury litigation involving large local amusement park involving significant closed head trauma
  • Presided over a medical malpractice trial resulting in one of the largest jury verdicts in Santa Clara County
Real Estate
  • Settled construction defect litigation involving 200 residences which had been pending for five (5) years in the Superior Court by applying Aas case to trial litigation
  • Successfully resolved commercial litigation involving commercial satellite manufacturers
  • Settled environmental litigation action by citizen’s group against development of Coyote Valley
  • Successfully resolved real estate litigation involving allegations of “double-escrowing”
  • Presided over numerous hearings requesting injunctive relief for enforcement of city building codes and habitability requirements in Santee neighborhood of San Jose
