Cathy Yanni has mediated, arbitrated, and acted as a Special Master and Discovery Referee in thousands of personal injury matters all over the United States. Many of these cases involved serious physical and psychological injuries and Ms. Yanni's ability to remain sensitive to all parties is key to resolution of these matters. Her experience includes matters involving multiple parties, complicated product liability, workers compensation, and insurance coverage issues. She has also mediated mass tort claims filed in federal and state courts. As a mediator, she has a focused, personal approach to maximize resolution opportunities.

    • Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices: mediated catastrophic injuries arising out of Artificial Heart Valves, mediated over 1000 fen-phen diet drugs and Hepatitis C claims, mediated or arbitrated cases involving Gandolinium, ReNu, Denture cream, Bextra-Celebrex, Ortho Evra, and Silicone Gel Breast Implants
    • PPA (Phenylpropanolamine, an additive in over the counter diet and cold mediations) multi-district litigation and state court cases, settled wrongful death from stroke cases
    • Federal Special Master for Zyprexa I and II: designed claims administration and made allocation determination for distribution of over $700 million dollar settlement
    • Toxic exposure: mediated multiple mold exposure matters
