The ABA Section of Dispute Resolution has designated the third week of October as the time to promote and celebrate peaceful conflict resolution practices worldwide.

Mediation From The In-House GC Perspective

This program, moderated by William Needle of JAMS and featuring prominent current and former in-house counsel, tackles a wide range of issues General Counsel encounter related to resolving disputes through mediation. Topics discussed will include types of disputes that are appropriate for mediation; working with outside counsel on mediation advocacy strategy; the mediator selection process; mediation vs. arbitration, and much more.

Women in Mediation: Why Gender Matters

This complimentary brunch CLE is presented by the JAMS Atlanta Resolution Center and the Women in the Profession section of the Atlanta Bar Association.

In celebration of the American Bar Association’s Mediation Week, JAMS and the Women in the Profession section of the Atlanta Bar Association will co-sponsor a free brunch CLE presentation for members of the Atlanta legal community. Join us for an informative brunch CLE discussion on “Women in Mediation: Why Gender Matters.” A boxed takeaway lunch will be provided, and parking will be fully validated for all attendees.
