Choices Have Consequences: Navigating Multi-Party ADR
Presented by the American Bar Association
Spotlight on JAMS Speaker: Jerry Roscoe, Esq.
Wednesday, April 24, 2013 | 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. EST
Nowhere but in the land of ADR is there so much party-driven choice regarding the process, the forum, and the neutrals who will decide the dispute. What ethical issues should you consider when choosing an ADR process or forum, or when selecting a neutral when those matters are not pre-determined by contract? Panelists will answer these questions and discuss how to select and "vet" neutrals and how to design and adapt procedures to meet parties' needs. The panel will also discuss strategies and ethical considerations for handling complex, multi-party matters.
