In this program, Judge Mahoney examines the California State Bar disciplinary process and real life ethical challenges for family lawyers. Also discussed will be how decisions are made as to whether a complaint is sent for investigation, whether a Notice of Disciplinary Charges is filed, and how recommendations for levels of discipline are analyzed. Also included: discipline for personal conduct outside the practice of law. Light lunch provided. |
