2018 Women’s Section Annual Luncheon - Navigating Gender Bias in Negotiation, Mediation & the Courts: Tales & Tips from Seasoned Practitioners and Judges
Presented by Contra Costa County Bar Association
Sponsored by JAMS
About the Event
In the time of #metoo and #timesup, it is more important than ever to shine a light on gender bias and gender dynamics. Panelists will explore the role that gender has played in mediation and negotiations, both in and out of the courtroom, as well as how gender impacted and influenced their experiences in the legal profession. Please come prepared to hear a lively discussion and ask questions of the panelists concerning encouraging a more gender-neutral approach by all parties, overcoming gender bias, and strategies to increase negotiation effectiveness.
Featured JAMS Speaker
