About the EventBased on BAC’s report ‘Commercial Dispute Resolution in China: An Annual Review and Preview (2018)’, this event brings top experts based in China and other areas in the Asia Pacific Region to discuss topics in various aspects on the developments of commercial dispute resolution in China. It is a platform where practitioners, stakeholders and industry observers can gather together to exchange views on practical and academic focus. Executive Director of Arbitration Robert Davidson will be speaking about forfeiture clauses from an international perspective and JAMS CEO Chris Poole will be moderating on the topic ‘Commercial Mediation Practice in the People’s Republic of China’. About Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC)Established in 1995 as an independent and non-governmental institution, the Beijing Arbitration Commission, also known as the Beijing International Arbitration Center (the “BAC/BIAC”), has become the first self-funded arbitration institution in China in 1998.
