Join JAMS neutral Hon. Anna H. Demacopoulos (Ret.), for a hybrid event presented by the Chicago Bar Association Civil Practice Committee. This seminar will be a refresher on ethical obligations and civil best practices throughout the stages of litigation. Judge Demacopoulos will discuss the contrasts between mediation and arbitration, the rules governing each, the importance of civility, and what mediators and arbitrators expect during sessions. Additional topics covered by the panel will include rules updates, good faith findings, and when to involve the court when parties are uncivil.
