Icebreaker: Jamie Jacobs-May is creative in getting parties in the mood to settle

Jamie A. Jacobs-May said she didn’t spend a great deal of time debating about what she’d do after stepping down form the bench in 2011.

“When the time came for me to retire, I didn’t want to just retire,” she recalled. “I wanted to do what I love best and that was going into private mediation.”
