What is Mediation Advocacy?

Mediation advocacy and trial advocacy are not the same. In what ways, however, are they different? Should attorneys who are comfortable in courtrooms be assumed to be equally nimble in mediation settings? Should the attorneys designated to take the lead at trials also be projected as the ones to guide parties in mediation?
