Forum on Construction Law 2021 Fall Meeting

Presented by the American Bar Association

Conference CLE Credit: CLE Credit Available
This forum is focused entirely on project management and will explore key elements of successful projects - large and small - from the perspective of all stakeholders in the design and construction dialogue. Various guest speakers will examine the evolving role of project managers in the U.S. and Canada and how this evolution impacts project delivery, owners, design professionals, contractors, and construction managers. Two sessions will examine the industry changes driving the increased use of construction management project delivery.

There will also be an in-depth and comparative look at the use of Public-Private Partnerships (P3) in the U.S. and Canada and explore the impact on project management of integrated project delivery (IPD), termination, immigration enforcement, and the role of design professionals. This three day meeting will also include sessions addressing legal project management from the perspective of in-house and outside counsel and lawyers’ ethical obligations in managing their client relationships.
