Seattle – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Hon. Jeffrey Ramsdell (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Ramsdell will be based in the JAMS Seattle Resolution Center. He will serve as a mediator and arbitrator in a variety of disputes including Business/Commercial, Class Action/Mass Tort, Construction Defect, Employment, Environmental, Insurance, Maritime, Personal Injury/Torts, Professional Liability and Real Property.
Judge Ramsdell joins JAMS after more than 20 years on the King County Superior Court. While on the bench, he handled cases ranging from class action lawsuits to the intra-family dispute about the legacy of the late Jimi Hendrix. His experience and comfort with high-profile and high-conflict cases enables him to be an effective and sympathetic listener.

“I’m excited to join JAMS and continue working with attorneys and clients to help them resolve their most important cases,” said Judge Ramsdell. “I also look forward to joining the impressive team in Seattle.”
Judge Ramsdell received his B.A. cum laude from Gettysburg College and his J.D. magna cum laude from University of Toledo College of Law.
