Dr. Abbott will serve in London and Los Angeles as an international mediator, arbitrator and special master in a variety of disputes, including business/commercial, education/schools, health care, insurance, intellectual property, international, personal injury/torts, pharmaceutical/mass torts and professional liability. He is a licensed and board-certified physician and patent attorney in the U.S. (California and New York), as well as a solicitor (non-practicing) in England and Wales.


Daniel H. Mabley Joins JAMS in Minneapolis

Judge Mabley joins JAMS following 26 years of distinguished service as a Hennepin County (Minnesota) District Court judge, including a term as chief judge, and another 15 years in prosecuting attorney roles in Dakota, Hennepin and Ramsey counties.


Hon. Robert Dondero (Ret.) Joins JAMS in San Francisco

December 3, 2018SAN FRANCISCO – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to welcome Hon. Robert Dondero (Ret.) to its panel. Justice Dondero joins JAMS after a 47-year career, where he most recently served for nearly 10 years on the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District, Division One. Before his appointment to the appellate court, Justice Dondero was a Superior Court judge in San Francisco for 17 years, where he served on the criminal bench at the Hall of Justice, the Juvenile Court and the civil trial departments.

Funded entirely by contributions from JAMS, JAMS neutrals and employee associates, the Foundation’s mission is to encourage the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), support education at all levels about collaborative processes for resolving differences, promote innovation in conflict resolution, and advance the settlement of conflict worldwide.
