April 15, 2019Former Cook County Judge will serve as arbitrator and mediator

Chicago – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Hon. Diane Joan Larsen (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Larsen joins JAMS following more than 20 years of distinguished service to the Cook County (Illinois) courts, including 14 years in the Law Division and another six years in Chancery. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Larsen was chief of policy litigation at the City of Chicago Law Department, where she specialized in civil rights policy challenges and class action matters in both state and federal courts.

IRVINE – The JAMS Foundation’s 11th Annual Warren Knight Distinguished Service Award will be presented to Convergence Center for Policy Resolution, along with a $25,000 grant, at the American Bar Association’s 2019 Annual Spring Conference today in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The award recognizes the work that Convergence has done utilizing collaborative problem solving to find solutions to the nation’s toughest problems.

Ms. Franklin joins JAMS with extensive experience on both the carrier and policyholder sides of complex insurance coverage disputes. Over her decades of experience in this area, Ms. Franklin has dealt with, among other things, commercial general liability, errors and omissions, entertainment, media liability and intellectual property insurance issues.
