Fostering the Growth of ADR: A Ripple Effect Felt Around the Globe

David Brandon
Managing Director, JAMS Foundation

Giving back is a significant part of our culture here at JAMS. Our founder, the late Hon. H. Warren Knight, not only made extraordinary contributions to the field of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), but he also affected employees with his generous spirit and commitment to “doing good.” The JAMS Foundation was founded in 2002 with a mission to give back to the growing field of ADR.

Today, the JAMS Foundation focuses on four core areas, one of which is the Weinstein JAMS International Fellowship Program. This program brings ADR practitioners from around the globe to the United States to develop their skills and then share their knowledge in their home countries. With a new class of Fellows joining the Fellowship Program in September, I wanted to take a moment to highlight the current class of Fellows and their journey.

Read the feature here to get a better understanding of this program and its impact on advancements in dispute resolution throughout the world.
