ABA Third Annual Symposium: ADR and Diversity This half-day event will explore the reasons why, in a diverse economy driven by diverse participants, the practice of arbitration and mediation has been persistently characterized by older white men. Leading corporate users of ADR will be joined by academic observers and the CEOs of the major ADR provider organizations to inquire why this legal field is so immune to change, and what approaches – if any – can accomplish the goal of neutral arbitrators and mediators reflecting the diversity of the disputants with whom they work. |
