JAMS Detroit Opening Reception

Presented By: JAMS Detroit

About the Event

JAMS, the world's largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, has opened its newest Resolution Center in Detroit. Please join us at the Detroit Institute of Arts, as we celebrate our newest resolution experts.

Attendees will enjoy meeting the esteemed JAMS Detroit panel, elegant appetizers and drinks against the backdrop of one of Detroit's most beloved locations, the beautiful DIA Great Hall and Rivera Court. For followers of the Detroit bankruptcy, the location will bear special significance as the subject of the “Grand Bargain,” a mediated solution put forward by Judge Rosen that preserved DIA holdings for Detroiters and kept them out of the hands of City creditors. Judge Rosen’s original “Doodle,” which served as an initial inspiration for the solution will be on display.

JAMS Detroit panel includes:

  • Gerald E. Rosen, Retired Chief Judge, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan
  • Steven W. Rhodes, Retired Chief Judge, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan
  • Mary Beth Kelly, Retired Justice, Michigan Supreme Court
  • Clarence “Rocky” Pozza, Esq., Mediator/Arbitrator
