As fewer civil cases go to trial and more are settled at mediation and settlement conferences, learning effective negotiation skills is more important than ever. Come join the Younger Lawyers' Division for a lunchtime panel on skills in mediations and settlement conferences for younger lawyers.

Hear from the Honorable Sidney Schenkier and current JAMS mediators the Honorable Morton Denlow (Ret.) and the Honorable Geraldine Soat Brown (Ret.) Also, hear about opportunities to gain settlement conference experience through the Northern District of Illinois Settlement Assistance Program.
