About the Event

Public policy facilitation processes are being utilized with increased frequency, nationally and internationally, in complex disputes involving sensitive and high-profile community matters such as public housing, environmental remediation and police reform. This panel discussion will focus on lessons learned from the New York City Joint Remedial Process, one of the largest community engagement and facilitation processes conducted in the United States to date.

  • Thomas Giovanni, Esq., Executive Assistant for Government Policy and Chief of Staff, New York City Law Department, Office of the Corporation Counsel
  • Joo-Hyun Kang, Director, Communities United for Police Reform
  • Jonathan C. Moore, Esq., Partner, Beldock Levine & Hoffman LLP
  • Mark Turner, Former Captain, New York Police Department
