8th Conference on International Arbitration and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods

JAMS is a proud supporting organization of the 8th Conference on International Arbitration and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), hosted by the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara, taking place on February 9, 2023.

JAMS neutral Amb. (Ret.) David Huebner, FCIArb, C.Arb, CollArb will speak on Panel I "Arbitration: Is 'back to the bias' the solution to achieve a more sustainable practice?" Amb. Huebner will also give the closing remarks at the end of this full day program.

The program will provide an account of the current challenges faced in international transactions and dispute resolution, from the pressing issue of achieving a more sustainable global trade and arbitration practice to Covid-19, war and sanctions disrupting their flow.

The 8th Conference will take place in a hybrid format. Speakers and a number of attendees will participate in-person at Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara, while those interested may also watch the event online via  Zoom.
