The Milwaukee Justice Center 5k Run for Justice benefits the Milwaukee Justice Center, the self-help center in the Milwaukee County Courthouse offering assistance to those who cannot afford an attorney and are representing themselves in civil cases. The Milwaukee Justice Center utilizes over 350 volunteers to serve around 10,000 individuals in self-help forms assistance and brief legal advice services. The Milwaukee Justice Center is a partnership project between Milwaukee County Clerk of Courts, Marquette University Law School, and the Milwaukee Bar Association.
