ABA Forum on Construction Law 2024 Annual Meeting

Credit
ABA will seek 15 hours of CLE in 60 min states and 18 hours if 50 min states, including 1.00 hour of Ethics Credit in 60 min states and 1.2 hours of Ethics Credit in 50 min states. Credit hours are estimated and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules.

The highest honor presented by the Forum on Construction Law, the Cornerstone Award recognizes a member who has rendered long-term exceptional service to the construction industry, to the public and to the legal profession.  

Additionally, Andrew D. Ness, Esq., FCIArb will be speaking on April 13, 2024 at 10:15 am in Plenary 8 regarding “The Dos and Don’ts of Presenting Expert Witnesses Testimony."  The panel will discuss how to effectively prepare and present your expert’s testimony and cross-examine your adversary’s expert witnesses.

The Annual Meeting programming will cover a broad spectrum of topics relevant to both litigation and transactional practices, and to outside and in-house counsel. Faculty have prepared sessions that will appeal to seasoned construction attorneys and those new to the practice, covering age-old trial techniques along with new techniques and approaches for mitigating risks and resolving construction disputes.
