CIRCLE Up: Strategic Mediation Tips for Complex Litigation

Presented by the Beverly Hills Bar Association

Court-ordered mediation often introduces strategic and procedural challenges - particularly in high-stakes, multiparty, or emotionally charged cases. In this one-hour CLE program, Jill M. Manning, Esq. will present six practical strategies to help attorneys approach mediation more effectively.

Drawing from her article published in the Daily Journal, Ms. Manning will walk participants through the CIRCLE method: a framework she developed to support attorneys in making informed decisions before and during mediation. Topics will include mediator selection, identifying core interests, managing expectations, and responding to impasse.

This program is designed for litigators, in-house counsel, and other legal professionals seeking to strengthen their mediation strategy in complex matters.
