Practical Aspects of Mediation (Do’s and Don'ts)

The Marin County Bar Association's Family Law & ADR Sections' joint June virtual presentation, "Practical Aspects of Mediation (Do's and Don'ts)," will be led by Hon. Vanessa A. Zecher (Ret.).

Judge Zecher will discuss practical approaches to mediation, including managing difficult clients, communicating a client’s position effectively to the mediator, positioning a client for resolution, and using time efficiently during the mediation process. Through the use of hypotheticals, attendees will have the opportunity to test out different strategies in a supportive, hands-on environment.
