Inside JAMS’ New Washington, D.C., Resolution Center

Washington, D.C., is a city defined by complexity. The matters handled here often sit at the intersection of law, policy, business and public impact, requiring judgment, perspective and environments that support thoughtful resolution. That reality shaped our vision for the new JAMS Washington, D.C., Resolution Center and set the tone for our recent Justice & Jazz Open House.

The evening marked the opening of our new D.C. office. It was an intentional relocation to a space designed to reflect how alternative dispute resolution is practiced today and where it is headed. Bringing together clients, neutrals, associates and members of the local legal community, the event offered an opportunity to connect, explore the new center and experience the spirit of JAMS in a distinctly Washington setting.

A Space Designed for the District

As JAMS CEO and President Kim Taylor shared in her remarks, this new Resolution Center represents more than a change of address. It reflects JAMS’ continued investment in the Washington, D.C., market and our commitment to evolving alongside our clients’ needs.

For nearly 25 years, JAMS has been part of this community, supporting matters that often carry national and even global significance. The new space was designed with that responsibility in mind. Flexible hearing rooms, enhanced hybrid capabilities and thoughtfully planned collaboration areas support in-person and remote participation while accommodating complex proceedings.

The refreshed design also aligns with JAMS’ new branding and visual identity. As Kim noted at the open house, the brand evolution is not simply aesthetic. It reflects what JAMS is today: confident, forward-thinking and grounded in the values that have long defined our work: neutrality, integrity, trust and innovation.

The Justice & Jazz Open House was a celebration of our work in that community and a reflection of our ongoing commitment to Washington, D.C.: a city where thoughtful resolution matters and where JAMS is proud to continue serving.
