Attorney Gregg M. Herman joins JAMS in Milwaukee, bringing 38 years of family law experience to the panel in Wisconsin. Attorney Herman is a lifelong resident of Milwaukee, where he practiced as an assistant district attorney for Milwaukee County for seven years prior to taking up a full-time family law practice in 1984.
Attorney Herman is a board-certified senior specialist in family law trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is the editor of the Wisconsin State Bar’s forms and procedures book on family law and a columnist on family law issues for the Wisconsin Law Journal. He dedicates significant time to writing and speaking on settlement negotiations and is an adjunct professor teaching settlement negotiations at Marquette University Law School.
Attorney Herman believes that careful attention to the needs of his clients and the minimization of conflict are essential to maintaining relationships, even after a marriage has ended.
