Cecilia H. Morgan, Esq. is adept at reconciling the irreconcilable, a master of delivery of unfortunate facts and a highly sought after neutral. Her mediation cases are often complex, hotly contested, multi-party matters pending in multiple courts. Known for her follow-up and closure, she understands the unspoken; one client describes her as a “tireless worker who intuitively knows when and how to apply pressure to obtain the deal.” Several counsel have called her their “go to” mediator for complex cases. She is often court-appointed to remediate cases where early mediations by party-selected mediators failed.

Since 1991, Ms. Morgan has regularly arbitrated cases from all over the United States. To date, none of her awards have been overturned. She writes comprehensive awards addressing the financial and legal issues which are important to the parties. Given her experience as both counsel and now as an arbitrator in over 1,000 arbitrations, she is cognizant of the parties’ desire that the arbitration be handled in a timely and efficient manner. She mediates numerous arbitration cases from other neutrals and other ADR organizations, which require her special understanding of mediations arising from an arbitration versus mediations from the courts. Ms. Morgan has been a court appointed special master supervising discovery and pre-trial matters in complicated multi-party, multi-state civil litigation.

Ms. Morgan was named one of Texas’ Best Alternative Dispute Resolution Lawyers by The Best Lawyers in America in 2008 through 2026. Ms. Morgan also has 40+ years of experience as an attorney and ADR professional and is a respected member of the JAMS employment, energy, health care, and financial services practice groups.
