Adam Myron, Esq., joins JAMS as an accomplished Florida litigator and dispute resolution professional with decades of experience representing individuals, businesses and high-profile clients in complex legal matters. A seasoned trial lawyer and a respected neutral, he will bring strategic insight, practical solutions and a measured approach to his alternative dispute resolution processes.

Mr. Myron’s background encompasses a broad range of civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) work, including business and partnership disputes, professional liability and malpractice claims, trust and estate litigation, defamation cases, noncompetition and employment disputes, personal injury matters, association law cases, and both commercial and residential real estate transactions.

A champion for effective conflict resolution, Mr. Myron is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Mediator and is a Florida Qualified Arbitrator. As a JAMS neutral, he will focus on the delivery of efficient and equitable outcomes to individuals and organizations through ADR processes.

Business Commercial

Mediated high-stakes breach of contract matters, including:
- A business breakup between siblings involving ownership and control of an automobile dealership
- Claims for breach of contract by a staffing agency against a business that had created COVID-19 testing centers during the pandemic
- A lawsuit seeking millions of dollars in damages for breach of fiduciary duty and conversion arising from the allegedly filing of false K-1 statements and unauthorized transfer of real property
- Claims for tortious interference and breach of fiduciary duty involving a third-party administrator of ERISA retirement plans
- A dispute between an artist and an art dealer seeking the return of artwork allegedly misappropriated by the dealer
- A dispute between a purchaser and seller of a horse seeking damages for injuries allegedly sustained during transport
Arbitrated numerous negligence and breach of contract claims
As an advocate, led trials in contractual, trust and estate, and restrictive covenant cases, and successfully represented clients and negotiated favorable outcomes in myriad other civil disputes

Construction

Mediated multiparty construction defect claims seeking seven-figure damages arising from alleged defects discovered during the renovation of a community pool
Mediated breach of contract and defect claims pertaining to the construction of a multimillion-dollar residence

Employment Law

Mediated a matter involving an advertising company’s claims seeking nearly $2 million in alleged lost profits against a former employee for purported violations of restrictive covenants related to competition, solicitation and confidential information
Mediated a matter involving a medical assistant’s claims alleging pregnancy discrimination and retaliation for reporting discrimination and opposing alleged improper disposal of hazardous waste without a permit
As an advocate, successfully defended former sales representatives in a noncompete dispute, resulting in a dismissal of claims and early release from restrictive covenants

Estate Probate Trusts

Mediated claims alleging breach of fiduciary duty and conversion involving closely held business interests and real property transfers
Mediated myriad objections to a discharge petition filed in a multimillion-dollar probate estate
Mediated claims against a trustee after the settlor, an attorney, allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from a client to fund the trust

Personal Injury

Mediated a matter involving claims for dram shop liability where an intoxicated individual drove the wrong way down the highway and crashed into another vehicle, tragically killing one individual and injuring another
Mediated a matter involving claims for negligent supervision against a gymnastics studio for injuries to a child participant who broke her arm during play
Mediated numerous auto negligence and premises liability cases

Professional Liability

Mediated a matter involving claims against an accounting firm arising from the alleged mishandling of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan applications
Mediated claims against attorneys for malicious prosecution arising from charges allegedly brought as part of an immigration-related scheme
As an advocate, defended an international law firm in a professional liability matter involving accounting and corporate governance issues
As an advocate, resolved contentious pre-suit malpractice claims for clients involved in multimillion-dollar land-banking transactions, avoiding protracted litigation

Real Property

Mediated a matter surrounding a real estate broker’s claims for nearly $1 million in allegedly unpaid commissions under a procuring cause theory following the sale of multiple gas stations in South Florida
Mediated lessor/lessee claims seeking hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages pertaining to the rental of a home on Palm Beach Island
