Orange – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Stacy La Scala, Esq. to its panel. Mr. La Scala will be based in the JAMS Orange Resolution Center. He will serve as a mediator, arbitrator and special master in a variety of disputes including Business/Commercial, Construction, Insurance and Professional Liability.
Mr. La Scala started his neutral career in 2011 after more than 20 years handling complex, multi-party litigation involving construction defect, insurance, commercial and contract issues. In private practice, Mr. La Scala represented individuals, policyholders and businesses. He also served as a national litigation director for a large property casualty carrier.
“Stacy’s background and experience allows him to quickly understand the important issues to the parties involved and work efficiently and effectively to bring the matter to resolution,” said Chris Poole, JAMS president and CEO. “We look forward to him joining our panel.”

Mr. La Scala received his B.A. from University of California, San Diego and his J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law. Mr. La Scala is also an accomplished author and lecturer on topics relating to construction and insurance. In addition to many articles, he co-authored the 2013-2015 editions of Thomson Reuters’ California Civil Practice: Torts.
