This prestigious award recognizes an outstanding individual who is a transaction liability coverage expert, an innovator and a mentor. The recipient is determined by the ten industry thought leaders who comprise the Conference Advisory Board.
Based in Los Angeles, Mr. Rosen joined JAMS this year following his legal career handling high-profile insurance matters covering a wide range of commercial issues and policies. He has extensive experience with implementing and executing transactional liability insurance policies. During his time as a Partner at Latham & Watkins LLP, the firm became a pioneer in using transactional liability insurance policies to support its clients’ private mergers & acquisitions transactions. Mr. Rosen was a central figure in building Latham’s transaction liability practice into one of the most formidable in the United States.

Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Rosen has driven hundreds of matters to a mediated resolution, and he has been involved in numerous high-stakes domestic and international arbitrations. Mr. Rosen has received accolades from Chambers USA and The Legal 500 and is the author of leading texts on directors and officer’s liability and business interruption claims. In addition, he teaches insurance law at University of Southern California (USC) Gould School of Law and Pepperdine University School of Law.
