Irvine, Calif. – JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Hon. Renee E. Wilson (Ret.) to its panel. Commissioner Wilson joins JAMS with decades of experience in family law litigation. She devoted over 15 years as a sole practitioner in family law litigation and civil practice.
Based in the Orange County Resolution Center, Commissioner Wilson will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and judge pro tem for family law disputes. She is available to conduct sessions in person (adhering to reopening guidelines), as well as virtually for attorneys and their clients across the country.
Commissioner Wilson is highly regarded and known for her dedication and deep understanding of family law matters. She brings a wide variety of skills to this new role, and we’re looking forward to seeing her thrive and help parties reach a resolution as a JAMS neutral.

Commissioner Wilson took the bench in 1999 as a commissioner on the Orange County Superior Court and spent 22 years handling family law assignments. During that time, she completed thousands of family law trials. She has also completed assignments related to domestic violence, termination of parental rights and surrogacy. Commissioner Wilson is bilingual in English and Spanish.
In my experience, I’ve learned how to be patient and listen to every element in a case to find a resolution. I’m excited for this new chapter in my career and look forward to applying my experience and knowledge as a neutral at JAMS.

Commissioner Wilson received her B.A. from California State University, Long Beach and her J.D. from Western State College of Law.
