Learn to recognize indicators of implicit bias and cross-cultural misperceptions and how to respond to protect your client’s interest.

A three-speaker panel of Lisa Holder, recognized bias elimination scholar and Of Counsel to the Equal Justice Society; Hon. Maria-Elena James, retired federal magistrate and experienced arbitration neutral; and Otis McGee, former trial attorney and full-time JAMS arbitrator, mediator and special master, will share knowledge gained from courtroom trial practice, dispute resolution, judicial experience, and legal scholarship to help you represent clients who may experience biases and misperceptions due to ethnic, cultural, gender or other differences.
