Research says that unconscious (aka implicit) biases are prejudices that we are unaware that we have: blindspots. Some research suggests that implicit bias has a "small-to-moderate effect size" when predicting discriminatory behavior. How do we improve what we can't see? And if we can improve, is it worth the effort? Let's explore why our answers to both questions should be "yes."
