CLE Credit Offered
For over fifty years, NITA has been teaching trial advocacy where attendees receive on-your-feet training and personalized coaching by a veritable "who's who" of advocacy experts — trial lawyers, judges, and law professors—from coast to coast. Whether attendees are new attorneys starting their careers and seeking to build their deposition or trial skills or more experienced litigators looking to refine them, these courses are designed to help them master their skills.

Hon. Christine Byrd (Ret.) will be speaking on the following panels:

Deposition Skills: San Francisco - June 9 - 10
Two full days of demonstrations and workshops will increase your ability to effectively take and defend depositions. You will work with actor witnesses who embrace their roles, which ensures you take and defend depositions in a simulated experience. By taking the full course, you will use the proven NITA method of experiential learning to enhance your taking and defending depositions, trial skills in the courtroom, and use of exhibits.

Building Trial Skills: San Francisco - June 11 - 14
Four days of practicing and perfecting your trial advocacy skills, with 1:1 video review with faculty for each skill you practice. Unique to the San Francisco Trial course is the opportunity to work 1:1 with a communication expert. On the last day of the course, you will participate in a simulated bench trial to put your enhanced advocacy skills to the test.
