Negotiating With Style: Mastering Your Conflict Communication Style
Conflict in litigation is inevitable. And the way we approach conflict has a significant impact on the process as well as the outcome. We all have an inherent “conflict communication style”, formed by numerous factors.
This presentation will explore different conflict communication styles (e.g. Competing, Avoiding, Accommodating, Compromising, and Collaborating,) identify various tools one can use to determine their own style, and provide some examples and strategies for applying the different styles in negotiation.
