Trial Evidence 2024

JAMS neutral Hon. James "Jay" C. Francis IV (Ret.) will be serving as Chairperson for the Practising Law Institute's “Trial Evidence 2024” program, as well as moderating the “quiz show" section of the program entitled  “Lightning Round: Test Your Knowledge of Evidence.” This panel will focus on applying best practices and analyzing strategic considerations for handling evidence at trial, including developing evidentiary issues around artificial intelligence. This program will focus on the Federal Rules of Evidence.

This program will assist participants in:

  • Understanding admissibility under Federal Rule of Evidence Section 608(b) (witness credibility and impeachment)
  • Recognizing and evaluating new and emerging issues about the use of artificial intelligence in the courtroom
  • Updating their knowledge and skills regarding selected Federal Rules of Evidence
