1.5 Legal Ethics Credits

Join the Santa Clara School of Law Conflict Resolution Program for a thoughtful discussion on the ethical challenges mediators face in practice. This engaging program will explore mediator standards and responsibilities through real-world examples and provide guidance that attorneys and mediators can apply to their own work.

Featured speakers include Tamara Lopez, Esq. of JAMS, Hon. Peter H. Kirwan (Ret.) of Signature Resolution, Adriana C. Moore of Moore Law, and Laurie Mikkelsen of the Santa Clara County Superior Court. Following the panel, participants will break into facilitated group discussions to examine common ethical dilemmas and share strategies for addressing them.

The evening will conclude with a networking reception, where JAMS will provide hors d’oeuvres, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with professional mediators, attorneys, and law students from the Santa Clara and San Mateo communities.

5:45–6:30 p.m. | Facilitated group discussions
