Known as a settlement master for his involvement in the resolution of many high profile matters over the length of his career, Mr. Pollack joins JAMS after 28 years in private practice at Dewey & LeBoeuf and its predecessor firms.
“Larry’s extraordinary settlement track record speaks volumes about the strong experience and ADR skill set that he will bring to his mediation and arbitration practice at JAMS,” said Chris Poole, President and CEO of JAMS.
“Over the years, I have developed a passion for alternative dispute resolution and I look forward to building upon that work at JAMS,” added Mr. Pollack.
Mr. Pollack’s dispute resolution accomplishments have included the settlement of insurance claims concerning alleged respiratory injury following the clean up of the September 11, 2001 disaster in New York City, as well as the settlement of insurance claims lodged by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, in relation to the substantial property damage arising out of the September 11 disaster.

Beginning in 1999, Mr. Pollack served as a Chairman of his firm’s Litigation Department for 10 years. He also became a member of the firm’s Executive Committee in 2003, and served on that committee until his retirement from the firm in 2009.
