Las Vegas – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Eleissa C. Lavelle, Esq. to its panel. Ms. Lavelle will be based in the JAMS Las Vegas Resolution Center and will serve as an arbitrator and mediator for disputes in a variety of areas including Business/Commercial, Construction and Real Estate.
Before joining JAMS, Ms. Lavelle was a partner at Duane Morris where she represented owners, financial institutions, contractors and other businesses. Her practice involved complex real estate, commercial and construction projects, including resolving disputes arising in commercial and government construction projects, ownership, management and valuation of real property, legal malpractice disputes and fraud claims and a variety of other matters.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Lavelle was among the first settlement judges selected by the Nevada Supreme Court as part of its ADR program. She established an arbitration and mediation practice while she was a litigator and drafted legislation promoting mediation and arbitration for common interest community disputes.
